Guaranty Trust partners Lufthansa on arts

Guaranty Trust Bank, in partnership with Lufthansa German Airlines, recently sponsored an art and craft competition for primary and secondary school students in Lagos.

The event, ‘Fun to Fly, Smart to Save Art Competition’ put together by Junior Achievement, was aimed at promoting creativity and innovation amongst the youth, a statement by the bank on Saturday said.

According to the bank, ‘Smart Kids Save Account’ is GTB’s flagship product for kids. It is a “Way of Life” product, specially designed to foster financial intelligence by promoting good money management and savings culture.

“SKS is not only about money and savings, it is packaged with other interesting info-educational features such as the SKS club, SKS teens, SKS website(an interactive platform for kids), comic strips in magazines, puzzles, games and career talks, among others. It is aimed at sustaining a fun and friendly atmosphere for all those associated with it.

The statement said that GTB, in maintaining its reputation as a socially responsible corporate citizen, had over the years, actively supported government at various levels in the rehabilitation and improvement of public facilities.

This, it said, which spread across health, education and the environment.
