Governor Omehia Pays Cultists N250 Million Monthly

GOVERNOR OMEHIA PAYS CULTISTS N250 MILLION MONTHLY

Governor Celestine Omehia

River State Governor, Mr. Celestine Omehia is being accused of spending about N250 Million monthly to maintain an illegal paramilitary organization, the notorious K12 and others that have surreptitiously linked to driving underground every real and imagined opposition in the state.

One of the key operatives of K12, Henry Okah was intercepted at the Luanda Airport in Angola, while returning to South Africa where he had allegedly gone to buy illicit assault weapons. Intelligence sources maintained that the fund for Okah’s trip had come from the monthly extra budgetary payment from governor Omehia to K12 and other militant cult group. The sources refused to disclose the quantity of arms purchased and the amount involved pleading “tactical reasons.”

Nigerian intelligence sources are classifying K12 as “a cultic terrorist outfit” that had been used to clandestinely run parallel to official law enforcement agencies in River State. It was said that K12 and other notorious militant cult festered and were encouraged by Omehia’s predecessor, Mr. Peter Odili who passed the maintenance of the group to his successor in the state to silence all political criticism.

Pointblanknews.com gathered that the military task force recently made an effort to rout the dissident leader of the group, Mr. Soboma George and did not succeed because the efforts was said to have been sabotaged by Governor Omehia.

Intelligence source hinted that it was Omehia, using his knowledge of the operation as the Chief security officer of River State, who tipped off George who had to hurriedly relocate to an undisclosed hideout within one of the creeks around Okrika.

Soboma was initially thought to have been killed during the raid of his hideout in Port Harcourt in mid August, he escaped. The casualties at the hotel premises were the raid took place were largely composed of innocent people and some unlucky lieutenants of George. The planned escape would later give rise to dubious superstitious claims that Soboma George magically disappeared.

Even while in hiding, a source insisted, that George still enjoys generous allocation from Governor Omehia. Such disbursement are used to maintain his operatives and killer gangs who are hoping that when rivals cult groups are eliminated George would reappear to claim leadership of militant groups in the Niger Delta.

George had successfully with the active support of former Odili who has since relocated to a rented apartment in Abuja, dislodged Asari Dokubos’s group, chasing them out of River State prior to the 2003 election.
