Visiting Sao Tome and Principe Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Manuel de Deus Lima met in Luanda Monday with Angolan Oil Minister Desiderio Costa, discussing on how to further improve bilateral cooperation in the oil sector.
When he arrived in the Angolan capital Luanda last Friday, Lima told reporters that his country needs "experiences from Angola in the field of oil sector" and "the guidance of Angola to sign the final document on that joint exploration accord."
Lima will also meet with members of the Administration Board of the state-run oil firm Sonangol and visit Sonangol's Research and Production Office later on Monday.
During his week-long visit to Angola, Lima will meet with Angolan Minister of Energy and Water Botelho de Vasconcelos on Tuesday and visit Luanda Oil Refinery Company and Essa Training Center in Cacuaco District, some 20 km from the Angolan capital Luanda, on Thursday, among others.
Lima paid a working visit to Angola at the invitation of Angolan Oil Minister Costs. He is scheduled to return home on Friday.
