SULE LAMIDO: A FAKE SOCIALIST
The claim by Sule Lamido that his government is a talakawa government is a ruse. It is a carefully told lie to hoodwink the people and cover the evil he represents. The late Aminu Kano would have been the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, if he had agreed to rig elections. So, why will he continue to use the good name of Aminu Kano to score cheap political points? The PDP has no talakawa agenda or ideology. The PDP is all about privatization and selling away of the collective patrimony of the Nigerian people, to cronies and surrogates of a selected oligarchy at the corridors of power.
Under a free and fair election, Sule Lamido can never win an election in Jigawa State, the election in the state was manipulated in his favour by the PDP and INEC, hence, he is enjoying a stolen mandate. The people and various traditional rulers in the state will never want a person like Lamido whom they consider a madman to preside over the affairs of the state. And, the point should be made that, he should not over-celebrate as he is enjoying a stolen mandate, he has short-changed the people of Jigawa State, by usurping the wishes and desires of the electorates. He is a political thief and bull-in-the-china-shop.
It would be recalled that, on the first day as minister of foreign affairs, Lamido wore a pair of slippers to the office with a waded cap. He has no colour, charisma, poise and carriage. He is drab and colourless politician who is benighted, so empty is this fellow that he dropped out of secondary school, unable to complete secondary school education. And, in a desperate attempt to always want to impress his listeners, commits malapropism repeatedly.
Again, he must be advised to stop attacking Atiku, he is not even qualified to clean the shoes of Atiku. Atiku has been fighting for the talakawa, so, why is he fighting Atiku for no reason. Sule Lamido has been doing everything to please Obasanjo, and now that he has been awarded Jigawa State, can’t he face the new job he has been given by the thieffery PDP government. And, if not for the pervasion of politics, Lamido lacks the intellectual, emotional and administrative wherewithal to run Jigawa State. He was a disaster as foreign affairs minister; he was more of an errand boy of Obasanjo than an actual minister. He could not even approve his own estercode, he was just too beholding to Obasanjo.
In fact, the minister of state for foreign affairs, Dubem Onyia was more relevant than him. In the case of Lamido, he was busy following Obasanjo all over the world just like a houseboy, and the day to day administration of the very sensitive suffered. There is no doubt whatsoever, that Sule Lamido is a fake socialist, he does not understand what socialism is about, a socialist will never steal the mandate of the people. He is an illetrate, he will be worse than Saminu Turaki at the end of the day, or how else will a government that is yet to settle down plan to pay beggars N7,000 a month, and fritter away the meager revenue of the poor state. Sule Lamido is a disaster waiting to happen.
