GOVERNORS FORUM AND EXCESS REVENUE
Recently, the Governors forum in Nigeria, tackled the
Central Bank's top gun, Prof. Soludo. Reason-they are
not happy with the apex bank's resolve not to share
the nation's excess revenue. According to them, if the
funds are injected into the economy, millions of jobs
would be created. Wait a minute, i must state here
that , Soludo and his masters at the Presidential
villa are not good custodians of Nigeria's revenue.
With the benefit of the prosecution of several
governors by the EFCC, there is no doubt that a very
large slice of members of the Governors forum are
rogues. Truth of the matter is, they want to commence
wanton acumulation of wealth as soon as possible,
because they know, at the end , it will end up in the
accounts of the President and his men.
THE FREEZING OF KALU'S ASSETS
It is amazing how things are run in Nigeria. But some
of us are not surprised at all. We have seen ex-parte
issued by corrupt judges in the middle of the night.
We saw it coming for Orji Kalu. There is no doubt that
this is the hand of one of Africa's most corrupt
leaders. Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo. Like some of my pals
who are counsels opined, the Nigeria constitution
guarantees the presumption of innocence until proven
guilty. So to freeze his a ssets without Kalu being
guilty flies in the face of legality. However, i must
blame the Kalu legal team who are beeing paid tones of
millions. Didnt they see this coming, most especially
on the trapping of the funds of The SUN Newspapers?.
THE OBASANJO-DANGOTE-OTEDOLA AXIS OF CORRUPTION
At the risk of sounding like a cracked CD,i must state again that the aforementioned trio need to be
investigated. Yes, the EFCC is trying some governors,
got one laughable conviction(2 yrs for Ex Bayelsa Gov.
Dipriye Alameiseigha), but to allow the trio to roam
freely is absurd. What about the terifyingly corrupt
trio of the South-South...James Ibori, Lucky
Igbinedion, and Peter Odili.? I was reading Dele
Momodu in THISDAY today (july 27). He gave kudos to
former Ghanian President Jerry Rawlings, for his
revolution that saw hundreds of corrupt men and women,
in the grave, jail and exile...How long shall we wait
for our own JJ.
THE ARIZONA SHERRIF, JOE APPAIAO
There is no doubt in my mind that Appaio hates
coloured people, especially hispanics. I wont be
surprised to hear that his fore fathers were KKK
sympathisers. They are all over the place..Senate,
congress, media, etc. These guy has not hidden his
abhorence for these people tagged illegal immigrants.
That the borders are porous, that 90 per cent of the
illegals are hardworking, is not his business. All he
advocates is for border agents to shoot on sight, and
for his men to arrest anyone who looks like an
illegal. Last week he set up a hotline for people to
call whenever they see an illegal. He has denied that
it is racial profiling. Question is, how do you know a
person is here illegally. As far as Appaio is
concerned, once he is not fluent in English, not
white, and does menial job, he is illegal. Amazing.
Will any white man call the hotline if he sees a
whiteboy, blue eyes, blonde hair cutting my
lawn..Answer is NO.
PROPOSED DEPORTATION OF 3500 LIBERIANS BY OCTOBER 07
This is absurd. how can anyone think of this. To send
back 3500 Liberians because, first, they have been
here under the Temporary Protective Status(TPS), and
that peace has returned to that country. These are men
and women who have been living and working here for
over a decade. Had kids, bought homes, own businesses.
We know this is the agenda of the extreme right wing.
They care less wether they have been paying taxes, and
contributing meaningfully. What do you lose if you
allow them to stay...
