Patience is truncating chances for Goodluck
One has always believed that patience is associated with good-luck. But relating to our present Nigeria first family the word ‘patience’ has become a burden to good luck. One cannot but agree with one Bishop Jattau who in the National Life on Sunday September 5, 2010 said that “Turai is an angel compared with Patience”.
Our First Lady, Dame Patience Goodluck Jonathan, has been associated with autocracy. She is being watched and listened to since she assumed substantive position with his spouse, President Goodluck Jonathan. President Jonathan who has against all odds announced his intention to run for the 2011 presidential elections may get a shocker of his life as he eventually clinches the ticket to fly PDP flag. Neverthelss, the behaviour of Patience remains one of majore albatrosses of Goodluck. Nigerians are saying that if Patience is the one that dictates to Goodluck what happens in their nucleus family as it looks like; she should not extend it to Nigerian nation.
The public had taken note that Patience Jonathan flies out of the country for ordinary weekend rests and shopping spree to Dubai as if she is travelling to Bayelsa from Abuja. At least this has been published by foreign, online and Nigeria media and this has not been refuted. She also acts if she is the de-facto President. She recently humiliated a sitting Governor Rotimi Amaechi in public and the Nigerians are very angry about this. She went about endorsing Governors like she did for Governor Uduaghan of Delta State and also insisting that a woman must win some governorship seats come 2011. On whose mandate has she continued in those actions?
The public took note that President Jonathan has not found it necessary to reprimand her but instead it is believed that she engineered that EFCC should be sent after Governor Amaechi and other governors that are not pro-Jonathan. This is not how Goodluck would secure the ticket Patience earnestly needs to continue as the First Lady after May 2011. The public is now saying that Turai is actually an angel compared with Patience and this would count against come 2011 elections.
