Sir,

Now that Yar'Adua is confirmed dead

May the soul of our departed President Yar’Adua now rest in perfect peace, Amen! This is the like wish of majority of Nigerians who pitied him while the protracted illness lasted.

I may likely be speaking the minds of Nigerians: There were those persons who made the departed President to suffer preventable humiliation. Such persons should be questioned. Leading the pack that should be investigated is the former First Lady, Hajiya Turai. Those persons, for selfish reasons, took advantage of Yar’Adua’s condition therefore should be properly investigated and brought to book where necessary for all the inconveniences they brought to the late President and people of Nigeria.

Having said thus, it has remained painful to most Nigerians that throughout the induced protracted suffering of our late President, they were not allowed to see or hear him, except to those that did so spiritually.

Once again, may his soul rest in perfect peace and may God Almighty minister to the new President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as an encouragement to do right things and always on time so that we move forward. May God not allow us to undergo this type of situation any longer?
